Caliente offers pad style heating elements for energy efficient spot heating. Constant wattage or PTC heaters using polymer thick film inks or etched foil as the conductive element. The elements are extremely thin (.011"/28mm typical), constructed with UL/CSA approved substrate material, including polyester, polyethylene napthalate (PEN), and polyimide. 

We offer variety of connection options, carrying up to 8 amps of power and excellent pull strength, as well as finished wire harnessing capabilities to mate with your power system. Caliente also offers thermostatic controls that can be mounted directly to the heater for over-temperature protection, or potted into the wiring harness for ambient temperature switching, giving you a complete thermal package. Pressure sensitive mounting adhesive and insulated back yield energy reduction of 25%. Sizes range from a 8mm square chip heater up to a 24"x96" battery heater.
